June 18th, 2000 -  Originally called "IceFest" when in Virginia, 1552 Designs annual show and shine is now called Beachblast because they reside in sunny Sarasota, Florida.   When I first found out about 1552 Design having their annual show and shine I knew it would be a good show, and it was.  Although not as large as last years "IceFest" this show had about 50 cars show up.  Of them a few of the notables would be, Brad's new Mk4 wide-body in black, John "Nut" Hazel's white Mk4 Jetta projektzwo'd out, Steve's wide-body Mk4 in silver, Jazz Blue Mk3 Cabrio VR6 w.Z-charger, Silver Mk2 VR6 w.Z-charger, Red Mk4 TDi w.Kinesis, Joe Kent's Mk3 Futura Yellow Cabrio, JWelty's Mk2 GTi w.2.0L crossflow (for sale BTW), and Ryan Welty's Mk2 mint green VR6.  Click on these pics to make em bigger:
